Day-By-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Following your arrival in Delhi transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Delhi
A full day sightseeing tour of Delhi. Visit Red Fort, Jama Masjid, Birla Mandir, Laxmi Narayan Temple, Humayun's tomb, Qutab Minar and the India Gate.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra
Morning drive to Agra. Visit Taj Mahal and Agra Fort.

Day 4: Agra – Ranthambore
This morning, drive to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary. Following dinner there will be a slideshow and an orientation talk about the park.

Day 5: Ranthambore
Early morning and afternoon optional jungle safari into Ranthambore National Park. Also visit the Ranthambore Fort.

Day 6: Ranthambore – Jaipur
Optional morning jungle safari at Ranthambore. Later depart for Jaipur. Arrival check-in a hotel for overnight stay

Day 7: Jaipur
Morning drive to Amber Fort by car followed by visit to the Museums, Palaces and halls within the City Palace and Hawa Mahal.

Day 8: Jaipur – Delhi
After breakfast drive to Delhi, arrive in approx 05 hours & transfer to airport for onward flight.

Day 1: Arrive Delhi
Upon your arrival at the airport, meet our representative awaiting just outside the arrival hall, past the customs area & currency shops. Later at the hotel our representative will brief you about tour starting day after.

Delhi, the national capital of India is an historic city and commercial centre of Northern India. Numerous dynasties ruled and flourished each bequeathing the city with different colors, shades and folds of civilization as heritage. With a multi-ethnic society, Delhi welcomes all to witness a miniature of the vast Indian subcontinent.

Day 2: Delhi
A full day sightseeing tour of Delhi is planned for the day. Today Delhi will unleash its historic and cultural heritage as you are introduced to various awe inspiring monuments. Start exploring from the undulated lanes of Old Delhi. The attractions here worth visiting first include the magnificent UNESCO World Heritage Site of Red Fort and Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India. The day tour will also include visits to one of the largest brick minarets of the world- Qutub Minar, white lotus shaped Baha'i Temple- Lotus Temple, the stunning Humayun's Tomb built in 1562 CE, and beauteous Laxmi Narayan Temple.

Visit the eclectic mix of modern and cosmopolitan worlds of India and take a sightseeing tour of New Delhi. Once called Lutyens' Delhi, the area of New Delhi was designed by British architect, Sir Edward Lutyens. These glorious imitations of Victorian style architecture have always been an eye-candy for the connoisseurs of art and architecture. Enjoy a drive past monuments of national significance such as President's House, Parliament House and later enjoy a night view of India Gate under starlit sky here.

Day 3: Delhi – Agra
(Driving Time: 4 hrs)
Morning brings drive to Agra. At Agra the day is spent exploring the best of UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Agra. In afternoon, visit the ultimate emblem of love and an edifice that has most rightly been called a World Wonder- Taj Mahal. Built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan, Taj Mahal is a UNESCO acclaimed site and is called "the jewel of Muslim art in India" for its beauteous design and configuration. Later, visit the imposing structure of Agra Fort containing the Pearl Mosque, the Halls of public and private audience. Also visit, the Tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah a replica of Taj Mahal often regarded as a draft of the famous mausoleum was built by Empress Noorjehan in memory of her father.

Day 4: Agra – Ranthambore

(Driving Time: 4.5 hrs)
This morning, drive to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary, that homes over 300 species of birds. Situated in Sawai Madhopur district of Rajasthan the park was declared a sanctuary in 1955 and became a national park in 1980. Ranthambore Wildlife Sanctuary is renowned for high density of tiger populations and is surely one of the best places to spot the majestic predators in action. Other wild creatures that have made the park their home include leopards, nilgai, wild boar, sambar, sloth bear, hyena and chital and varied species of birds and reptiles. Follow the trails of wilderness for exciting game viewing and wait for the call of the wilds to track their location for a perfect exhilarating wildlife safari. Following dinner there may be a slideshow and an orientation talk about the park and it's wildlife by the lodge staff.

Day 5: Ranthambore
Early morning an optional jungle safari into the park, one of the finest tiger reserves in the country. You may like to spend the afternoon visiting nearby temples and famous sites. Also visit the Ranthambore Fort, regarded as one of the oldest forts of Rajasthan. Now mostly in ruins the fort is characterized by its temples, tanks, massive gates and huge walls. You will have another opportunity in the afternoon for tiger spotting during your second safari of the day.

Day 6: Ranthambore – Jaipur
(Driving Time: 3.5 hrs)
Even on this day one can opt for a jungle safari in the morning (optional). Commence the journey to Jaipur henceforth and reach Jaipur where on arrival you will be accommodated in a hotel for night stay.

Day 7: Jaipur

Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the hotel and leave for a half-day sightseeing tour to the hilltop fortress of Amber. A small trek up the hill will be covered while riding an elephant in the royal manner. The fort was built in 1592 under the reign of Raja Man Singh and was later modified by successive rulers for next 150 years. Today the structure stands with its beautifully carved ceilings, intricate patterns and stunning designs.

In the afternoon, tour the old walled city of Jaipur. Built by Maharaja Jai Singh II it consists of fourteen major geometric devices for measuring time and predicting eclipses etc. Stunning City Palace will be the next destination on this city tour. City Palace is a complex of various palaces in Jaipur which is an erstwhile seat of Maharaja of the region. Drive-by the stunning Hawa Mahal- a palace with hundreds of ornamental windows, built for royal ladies to be able to watch the daily processions of city.

Day 8: Jaipur – Delhi
(Driving Time: 4.5 hrs)
After breakfast an approximately 5 hours of drive will take you back to Delhi. Our representative will escort you further to the airport in Delhi from where you will board your flight back home.
